John gave his mother a beautiful bouquet of red roses for her birthday. The flowers were a nice deep red with a single white rose in the middle and the smelled of clean bed sheets or the way grass smells after it rains. They had the impression of you imagining that you were outside in a garden listening to the birds' melodic song and smelling all the different smells of the roses. Although the flowers were beautiful, they had sharp thorns that if touched they would prick you and your blood would start to dribble out.
